Game Freak might release a special Rockruff capable of evolving into Dusk Form Lycanroc through Mystery Gift or Max Raid Battles in the future, but that won’t help the players who want to add it to their teams right now. Ensure it levels up between 5 PM and 5:59 PM. In many ways it reminds me of Rotom a Pokemon who was awesome to begin with, then had forms locked behind an event for no real reason and has more or. Increase Rockruffs level to 25, or beyond. Now admittedly I actually really like Dusk Form Lycanrocks look mostly because of how it's eyes shift between red and green but I kind of wish there was more to this Pokemon other than being rare.

No one has had a chance to test those windows with the right Rockruff yet, but if neither of those factors work, then the only way to get the third Lycanroc form will be through Home. There are two simple steps to get Rockruff to evolve into Dusk Lycanroc. If you check out Lycanroc’s entry in Bulbapedia you will see that the time of the day has a major influence on evolution.
Now there are three different forms of Rockruff’s evolution and different factors combine to determine what the next evolution can be. The Dream Ball can be obtained by talking to the Ball Guy located at the Wyndon Gym. To level up Rockruff into a Lycanroc, you will first need to reach a minimum level of 25. Yawn or Hypnosis), once asleep the Dream Ball will have a 4x catch rate multiplier. If a Pokemon uses a move that puts other Pokemon to sleep (i.e. Rockruff only evolves into Dusk Form Lycanroc between 5pm and 6pm local time ( Ultra Sun) or 5am and 6am local ( Ultra Moon). The Dream Ball is an Apriball that is especially effective on Pokemon that are asleep. If you manage to find one with that ability, which might not be possible in Sword and Shield, you’ll need to either wait or set your system time to one of two very specific times of day. Outside of hunting down a Rockruff, you’ll also need to make sure you catch one with the ability Own Tempo, which is considered a Special Ability, not a Hidden one.
This might not be the only way to get the rarest form of Lycanroc, but actually obtaining it while traveling the Isle of Armor will take a lot of work.
